Overview[]
Crafting Materials are often dropped from rare and elite mobs; however, some rarer materials only drop at higher difficulties; those being Champion Crowns and Soul Essence. These materials are used for three purposes: enchanting items, upgrading gems, and transmutation.
Crafting Materials
- Magic Essence Enchanted
- Crystal Essence Rare
- Soul Essence Unique (drops in higher difficulties)
- Memory Essence Legendary (available through anomalies)
- Key Enchanted
- Champion's Crowns Legendary (drops from champion mobs)
Essence[]
There are 4 types of essences. All Essences (Magic to Memory) are used to enchant items and upgrade gems.
- Normal enchants cost a flat 10 Magic Essence and 4 Crystal Essence
- Greater enchants cost a flat 10 Magic Essence, 4 Crystal Essence, and 10 Memory Essence
Normal enchants are provided by Chantie. While Greater Enchants are provided by Chantelle. The Player Gains Access To Chantelle After Unlocking Tinka's Dimension.
Soul Essence requires veteran difficulty or above in order to drop. In addition, the character has to be at least at level 10. While Memory Essence can only be earned either through completing random anomalies and dungeon anomalies. Anomalies can be accessed after completing the game and then talking to Tinka.
Key[]
While keys are used throughout the game to open locked chests, they are also used in certain transmutation recipes.
Champion Crowns[]
Champion Crowns only drop in difficulties of Heroic and above, and where the character is at least level 50. This crafting material is used in transmutation recipes alongside with keys.
